Vijayawada News :New Delhi National Defence College team meets CS.
A team of several officers from New Delhi National Defence College met Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand at the CS Camp Office in Vijayawada on Friday. The meeting took place when a team of officers from Army, Navy, Air Force, National Defence Academy, DRDO and other departments led by Major General CP Sangra AVSM YSM (rtd) visited the state as part of their study tour. On this occasion, the team representatives inquired from the CS about various development and welfare programs being implemented in the state under the auspices of the Central and State Governments.
Speaking on this occasion, CS Vijayanand explained to them the various programs being undertaken by the state government under the Swarnandhra 2047 Vision Plan as part of Vikasit Bharat 2047. He especially explained the programs being undertaken through the Ten-Point Plan to achieve the Swarnandhra goal.
Similarly, CS Vijayanand explained to them about the use of technology in the implementation of development and welfare schemes and programs. He explained how WhatsApp Governance was recently introduced in the state and how it is providing easy civic services to the people.
CS Vijayanand explained to the NDC delegation that Andhra Pradesh has a 970-kilometer long coastline and the construction of various new ports, green hydrogen, and green energy projects being undertaken by the government in the coastal area.
He said that Andhra Pradesh will see large-scale development in industrial, service sector, manufacturing sector, logistics and other sectors in the coming decade. Accordingly, he said that many projects are being undertaken with the support of the Central Government. In addition, the CS explained to them the efforts being made to make AP the first in the country in sectors such as large-scale use of technology in various sectors, horticulture and natural farming.
He said that the central defense forces like Army, Navy, Air Force, NDRF etc. have been providing invaluable services to the state when various natural disasters occur in the state. For example, CS Vijayanand reminded them of the services provided by the defense forces during the Hudhud cyclone bring normalcy in Visakhapatnam within a week and during the floods that occurred in Vijayawada last year.
Major General CP Sangra, who is leading the delegation of the National Defense College, said that a team of 16 officers from various departments of his college is visiting various parts of the state as part of a study tour. He said that the team is studying the activities of various central government organizations and state government departments.
Principal Secretary General Administration dept.Mukesh Kumar Meena and other officials participated in this meeting. Major General CP Sangra of the National Defence College, Brigadiers Manjeet Singh, Munis Chandra Tamang, Atul Rajput, Sandeep Kumar Rakesh, Amitosh Singh, KS Pushpa Kumar, Commanders, Colonels and others from various departments participated.
