ANDHRA PRADESH NEWS: Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR Conducts Inspection of Guntur – Pagidipalli Section

Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Guntur – Pagidipalli section on Guntur Division today. He was accompanied by Shri M. Ramakrishna, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur Division and other senior officials from both the Headquarters and Division throughout the inspection. Arun Kumar Jain conducted a detailed inspection of Guntur Railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge etc. He inspected Crew Booking Lobby, Running Room and checked the hygiene of food supplied to staff. The General Manager interacted with Loco Pilots and Guards about the facilities provided to them during the stay in Running Rooms. He also inspected the Women Running Room and checked the quality of food supplied, facilities available and Safety aspects. Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Nallapadu railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge, Crew Booking Lobbyand Running Room etc,. The General Manager interacted with Loco Pilots and Guards about the facilities provided during the stay at Running Rooms. He also checked the complaint register and compliance given. Shri Arun Kumar Jain conducts rear window inspection between Nallapadu -Piduguralla section. He inspected major bridge on Krishna River and checked the maintenance records and advised the officials to conduct regular maintenance as per schedule. Later he inspected Vishnupuram railway station.Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Miryalaguda railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge, Station Manager’s room. He also reviewed re-developmental works and expansion plans of theMiryalaguda railway station under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He advised the officials to complete the works as per target. Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection ofLevel Crossing Gate No. 54. He complemented the gatemen for his knowledge on safety aspects, alertness and devotion to duty in critical situations.Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Nalgonda railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge, Station Manager’s room. He also reviewed re-developmental works and expansion plans of the Nalgonda railway station under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.The General Manager also inspected several major and minor bridges in Guntur -Pagidipalli section, before proceeding to Pagidipalli. During the course of inspection several public representatives also met the General Manager and discussed on Rail developmental plans pertaining to the division.
